Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for biking in the Tortolita Mountains?

A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend that riders be at least 12 years old and comfortable on a bike. Younger kids can join if they’re accompanied by an adult and can ride safely. Just keep in mind that the trails are beginner-friendly but some ups and downs can make it a bit challenging for little ones.

Q: What should we wear for the ride? Is it casual or more athletic gear?

A: Definitely wear athletic gear! Comfortable shorts and moisture-wicking shirts are ideal since it gets warm in the desert. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen, as the sun can be pretty intense out there. Closed-toed shoes are a must for safety, too.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, they typically allow you to reschedule your booking without any extra fees. Just make sure to contact them as soon as possible to find another time that works for you. They want everyone to have a great experience, so they're pretty flexible about it.

Thinking of gifting the biking experience in Tortolita Mountains!

So, I’m considering this biking tour in the Tortolita Mountains for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves biking and the trails sound perfect. The fact that they include the bikes and helmets is awesome! Has anyone done this before? Is it really as beginner-friendly as they say? Any tips?

Just got back from the Tortolita biking experience!

OMG, I just finished the biking tour in the Tortolita Mountains and it was such a blast! The guides were super chill and the trails were perfect for a fun day out. I loved how they provided everything, even water! Just a heads up, the views are stunning but watch out for some rocky spots. Anyone else have thoughts after doing it?
