Early tour time: Sunset & bioluminescence Tour While the sun is setting, our friendly guides lead you on an amazing evening clear kayak or paddle board adventure on the Lagoon. We'll also walk in shallow waters to interact with the bioluminescence. Search for stingrays and other marine life such as dolphins and manatees as the sun sets. After sunset, we'll paddle into the night as dinoflagellates bioluminescence illuminates the water and fish below us. Later tour time: Bioluminescence & Stargazing At this launch time, it is very dark and the stars shine bright against the night sky as the bioluminescence glows below us. **Tours may be delayed up to 1 hour to allow weather to pass** **We have 2 locations. If severe weather occurs, you will be notified of the new location.** When dinoflagellate bioluminescence season ends, comb jelly bioluminescence season begins! Then, you will also be given high powered multi-colored LED lighting systems for your vessel to further enjoy the glow.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this bioluminescence kayak tour? Can kids participate?

A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome on the bioluminescence tour, but they need to be at least 6 years old to paddle in their own kayak or paddleboard. If they're younger, they can sit in the same kayak with an adult. Just make sure they’re comfortable around water!

Q: What if bad weather forces a cancellation? How do reschedules work?

A: If severe weather hits, they notify you about changes to the location or reschedule you for another time. They try to give you at least an hour's notice. Just keep an eye on the weather forecast, and you can easily switch dates if needed!

Q: What should we wear for the bioluminescence kayak tour? Is it cold at night?

A: I'd recommend wearing quick-dry clothes and sandals. It can get a bit chilly after sunset, so maybe bring a light jacket. Your feet can get wet, so don’t wear anything fancy! And don't forget your sunscreen for earlier in the day.

Just did the bioluminescence tour in Cocoa Beach – WOW!

I recently went on the bioluminescence kayak tour with Epic Paddle Adventures and it was incredible. The clear kayak made the glowing water below look so magical! We even saw a couple of stingrays and some dolphins swimming around. The guides were really friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend it as a gift or just for a fun night out!

Thinking about gifting the bioluminescence tour – any thoughts?
