There are only a few places is the world you can see this amazing display of sea life lighting up the waters with their other-worldly neon glow.  This is one Florida experience you do not want to miss! What makes this amazing is that the protected wetlands around the area we launch our kayaks has almost no light pollution. This make for amazing visibility of the bioluminescence.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Bioluminescence Night Kayaking Tour?

A: Yes, there is an age requirement for this tour. Typically, participants need to be at least 6 years old. However, kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The guide can help with paddling if needed, so it's pretty family-friendly!

Q: What should I wear for the night kayaking tour?

A: I'd recommend wearing quick-dry clothes and sandals or water shoes since you'll be on a kayak. Don't forget a light jacket because it can get chilly at night! Also, bring a towel just in case you get splashed.

Q: What if the weather doesn't cooperate on the tour date?

A: If the weather's bad, BK Adventure usually reschedules the tour for free. They'll contact you to let you know if there's a cancellation due to storms or high winds. It's definitely a good idea to keep an eye on the forecast!

Just booked the Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour at Cocoa Beach!

Hey everyone! I just booked the Bioluminescence Night Kayaking Tour with BK Adventure for next weekend. I’ve heard it’s an incredible experience seeing the glowing waters at Merritt Island. I’m a bit nervous about kayaking at night, but I think it's gonna be so worth it. Has anyone been on this tour before? Any tips?

Amazing experience with the Bioluminescence Tour!

Just got back from the Bioluminescence Night Kayaking Tour and wow! The glowing plankton were surreal! We launched from Cocoa Beach, and the lack of light pollution made everything pop. Our guide was super chill and made the experience even better. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique outing!
