Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the tour! It’s family-friendly, but I’d recommend it for kids 8 and up as they'll get more out of the stories. Just make sure they can walk for about 1.5 hours without getting too restless. And comfy shoes are a must!
A: Dress for the weather! Layers are key since it can get chilly by the water. Comfortable shoes are super important too, you'll be walking for about 1.5 hours. I wore sneakers and was fine. Also, maybe bring a light jacket if you're going in the fall.
A: If it rains, the tour is usually still on unless it’s really severe weather. So it’s good to check their policy. They may allow you to reschedule if it gets canceled. I’d recommend calling them ahead of time just to be sure!

Just booked the Black Cat Historical Tour for my parents!
I’m really excited about this! They love history and I think they’ll enjoy the stories about pirates and the witch trials. It's a 1.5-hour walking tour, so I hope they can handle that! I also heard the guides are super knowledgeable and can customize the tour a bit based on interests. Has anyone else gone on this tour?
Thinking of doing the Black Cat Tour in Salem
I’m planning a trip to Salem next month and considering the Black Cat Historical Day Tour. It sounds perfect for me since I love local history. I’m a bit worried about the length though—1.5 hours of walking could be a lot. Anyone who’s done it have any tips?
