Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for the hiking tour in Asheville?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but they recommend kids be at least 8 years old since some of the trails can be a bit challenging. Just keep in mind that younger kids might find the 3-5 mile hike tiring. It’s a great family-friendly experience if your kids are used to being outdoors!

Q: What should I wear for the hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains?

A: Definitely wear sturdy hiking shoes! The trails can be rocky and wet sometimes. Layer up too since it can get chilly in the morning but warm up later. I recommend bringing a light rain jacket just in case, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the hike?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they usually cancel the hike for safety reasons. They’ll contact you in advance if that happens and you can reschedule for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be flexible with the dates!

Thinking of gifting the Blue Ridge Mtns hiking tour for my brother's birthday!

Has anyone done this experience? I'm considering it for my brother's 30th. He loves hiking but is kinda outta shape. I read it’s 3-5 miles and includes snacks, which is cool! Are the guides nice? What’s the view like from the trails?

Just got back from the hiking tour in Asheville!

It was AMAZING! The guide was super knowledgeable and we saw a waterfall and even a bald eagle! The snacks were perfect too – trail mix and bars. I’d totally recommend this to anyone looking for a fun day out in nature. Can't wait to go back!
