Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for this hike? My brother is a big guy and I want to make sure he can do it.

A: There's no strict weight limit for the hike, but it's designed for people who can comfortably walk about 3 miles. As long as your brother is reasonably active and able to handle that distance, he should be fine. They provide a comfortable van ride, so he can take breaks between stops.

Q: If the weather's bad, do they cancel the tour? What’s the policy?

A: They usually try to run the tour unless the weather is really unsafe. If they have to cancel, you'll get a full refund or the option to reschedule. It’d be a good idea to check their cancellation policy before booking, just to be safe!

Q: What should I wear for the hike? Is it muddy or rocky?

A: Definitely wear sturdy shoes, like hiking boots or good sneakers. The terrain can be rocky in spots and it might get muddy after rain. Dress in layers since it can be cooler in the mountains. And don’t forget sunscreen! It can get sunny even if it seems cloudy in Asheville.

Considering the Blue Ridge Parkway and Waterfalls Hiking Tour for my dad's birthday!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking of booking this hiking tour for my dad’s birthday. He loves nature and hasn’t been to Asheville yet. The tour looks amazing, especially with the waterfalls and the scenic drive! Also, is the distance manageable for someone in their late 60s? Any tips on what to bring along?

Just did the Blue Ridge Parkway hike – WOW!

OMG, I just got back from the hiking tour and it was incredible! The waterfalls were so beautiful, and our guide was really cool, sharing fun facts about the area. The hike was totally doable, but be ready for some uneven paths. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day outdoors!
