Q&A

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather looks bad on the day we booked?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating. Just contact the Waikiki Sailing Company at least 24 hours in advance, and they'll help you pick a new date. It's great that they prioritize safety and the experience itself!

Q: Is there an age limit for this sunset sail experience?

A: There isn't a strict age limit for the sunset sail! Families are welcome, and kids usually love the net ride. Just make sure younger ones are supervised, especially if they want to hang out on the net. It's perfect for all ages!

Q: What should we wear for the sunset sail? Any tips?

A: You should wear something comfy and light! It's often breezy, so layers are a good idea. Don’t forget your sunscreen and maybe a hat, especially if you’re on the net—splash zone! Flip-flops or water shoes work well too.

Just went on the Sunset Sail on the Hāwea!!

I gifted my partner this experience, and wow, it was amazing! The views of Diamond Head at sunset were just breathtaking. We brought our drinks, but they provided complimentary soda, which was a nice touch. The rainbow sails are so vibrant in photos! We even tried the net ride—definitely got splashed but it was so much fun! Highly recommend it for a couple's night out.

Thinking of gifting the Sunset Sail experience!

I'm considering this sunset sail for my sister's birthday. She loves the ocean, and I think she'd have a blast! How long does it usually last, and is it suitable for someone who gets seasick easily?
