We are excited to announce the return of our Boeing Factory Tour beginning January 2026. We paused this tour during the global pandemic, but we’re back and better than ever. A few years ago, our company was ranked “Top 20 in the USA” by TripAdvisor/Viator—the only bus tour in Seattle to receive this distinction. On our Boeing Factory Tour experience, you’ll visit the historic launch site of Boeing’s very first airplane, built in 1916. The facility is truly massive—the largest steel structure in the world—with aircraft hangar doors as long as a football field. It is the only facility in North America where you can witness the construction of new commercial aircraft. Boeing’s Gallery features a variety of exhibits showcasing both current and emerging Boeing products and services, and you’ll also have the opportunity to do some plane-spotting from Boeing’s Skydeck. The Boeing Factory Tour itself is conducted by Boeing’s professional guides inside the manufacturing facility.

Q&A

Q: How long is the Boeing Factory Tour and what should I wear?

A: The Boeing Factory Tour lasts about 2-3 hours, including some time for exhibits and plane spotting. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes since there's a bit of walking, and layers are recommended because it can be chilly inside the factory. I wore a light jacket and was glad I did!

Q: Are there age limits for the Boeing Factory Tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids aged 12 and up can join the tour, which is great for family outings. However, parents should know that it's not super engaging for younger kids since there's a lot of info and less hands-on stuff. If they're into planes, they might love it though!

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day of the tour? Do they cancel?

A: The tour typically goes on rain or shine unless there are severe weather warnings. It's mostly indoors, so you should be good. If they do cancel for some reason, you'll get notified and can reschedule or get a refund.

Looking for gift ideas? Thinking about the Boeing Factory Tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting my brother the Boeing Factory Tour for his birthday. He’s a massive plane nerd and has always wanted to see how they make the 787s. I saw the pickup’s at the Hyatt Regency, which is super convenient. Just wondering if this would be a good gift or if anyone has gone and can share their experience? Thanks!

Just did the Boeing Factory Tour - WOW!

I finally went to the Boeing Factory Tour last week and it was such an incredible experience! The guides were super knowledgeable and we got to see a 777 being assembled. The size of the factory is mind-blowing! Definitely worth every bit of the hype. I think it’s a great gift for anyone who loves aviation.
