Q&A
A: There's actually no strict age limit for this tour! Kids are welcome, but it really depends on their interest in art and history. Just keep in mind that some of the installations can be a bit spread out, so younger kids might get tired. It's a great family outing if they enjoy new experiences!
A: No, lunch at the Ski Inn is not included in the ticket price. You should budget around $15-25 for a meal there. The food is really good, though! It’s a nice break and worth it to try their famous burgers.
A: Wear comfy clothes and good walking shoes! You’ll be exploring the art installations along the beach, and it can get a bit sandy. The tour does involve walking, but it’s not super strenuous. Just be prepared for some sun exposure too, so hats and sunscreen are a good idea!

Thinking about gifting the Bombay Beach tour! Thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Bombay Beach and Salvation Mountain tour to my art-loving friend for her birthday. I heard the art installations are super vibrant and the lunch spot is a gem! Has anyone done this tour yet? Is it worth it? Would love to hear your opinions!
Just came back from the Bombay Beach tour!
OMG, I just got back from the Bombay Beach and Salvation Mountain tour and it was incredible! The colors at Salvation Mountain were beyond what I imagined. The guide was super knowledgeable. Just a heads up, bring your camera because the photo ops are everywhere!
