Q&A
A: There isn’t a specific age limit, but kids should be able to walk for a bit on uneven salt surfaces. It’s definitely family-friendly! Just keep in mind that it can get hot, so pack plenty of water and sunscreen for the little ones.
A: Wear comfortable, breathable clothes since it's pretty hot out there. Those salt flats can be blinding, so sunglasses and a hat are a must. If you’re going in the morning, maybe a light jacket since it can be chilly at first!
A: Yes, you can reschedule the tour by contacting the provider directly. Just make sure to give them a heads up at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible with changes, which is nice!

Just did the Bonneville Salt Flats tour - WOW!
I recently went on the Bonneville Salt Flats Adventure and it was breathtaking! The flatness is unreal, and I got some amazing photos. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area and even shared some cool speed racing stories. Plus, we made a stop at the Tree of Life, which was a nice touch. Can't recommend this enough if you're in Salt Lake City!
Looking to gift the Bonneville Salt Flats experience!
I'm thinking about getting this adventure as a gift for my parents. They love nature and photography. Just wanted to know if anyone’s done it recently? How was the experience? Any tips for making it special?
