Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour from NYC to Boston?

A: There's no strict age limit for kids, but I’d say it's great for ages 8 and up. Younger kids might get bored with all the walking and history, but there are plenty of stops that'll keep them engaged. Just make sure to keep an eye on them during the bus ride since it's a full day out!

Q: How does the weather affect this tour? What if it rains?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! If the weather is bad, they usually have indoor options at stops like museums. Just make sure to dress appropriately and maybe bring an umbrella. You’ll still get to see the sights without missing out.

Q: What should we wear for the Boston tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since it’s a lot of walking along the Freedom Trail! Dress in layers too, since the weather can change quickly in Boston. And I’d suggest a light jacket or hoodie for the bus ride. You’ll thank yourself later!

Thinking of gifting the Boston Freedom Trail tour, anyone done it?

I’m considering this full-day Boston tour from NYC as a gift for my history buff friend. It includes stops at Harvard and the Boston Tea Party site, which sounds amazing! But I'm worried about the 5-6 hour bus ride - is it comfortable? And how engaging is the tour guide? Any tips would be appreciated!

Just got back from the Boston tour, here’s my review!

Wow, the Boston and Freedom Trail tour was so worth it! The scenic drive was beautiful, and seeing Harvard was a major highlight. Our guide knew all the best stories. Just a heads up, it’s a full day—so be prepared for lots of walking, but totally doable. I’d recommend it for anyone who loves American history!
