Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I'm thinking of bringing my kids.

A: No specific age limit! It’s family-friendly, so kids are more than welcome. Just keep in mind that some of the historical topics can be complex, but the guide makes it engaging for all ages. We took our 10 and 12-year-olds, and they loved it!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Yes, rescheduling is definitely an option if the weather doesn’t cooperate! Just reach out to Bailey's Boston Irish Tour, and they’ll help you pick another date. They’re usually pretty flexible, which is great!

Q: What's the best way to get to the tour starting point? Is parking difficult?

A: The starting point is pretty central, near Faneuil Hall, so public transport is a great option. If you drive, there are a few parking garages around, but they can be pricey. I’ve found street parking on weekends can be hit or miss. Just plan ahead!

Just did the Boston Irish American History Tour and loved it!

I went on this tour last weekend, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the whole thing feel really personal. We learned about everything from the Kennedys to the Irish immigrants who shaped the city. Plus, it’s totally free! If you're in Boston or looking for a unique gift, seriously consider this tour!

Thinking of gifting the Irish History Tour for my dad's birthday!

My dad loves history, especially Irish American heritage. I’m a bit worried if he’ll really enjoy it though. Can anyone share how engaging the tour is? I want to make sure it’s not just a bunch of dates and names. Plus, is it okay for someone who's not super mobile?
