Our guides are expertly-trained historians who are also incredibly personable. Our founder, owner, and frequent tour guide has a PhD in American history and is a two-time author. We know our stuff and are passionate about sharing the most interesting stories. We cap each tour at 12 people to provide an intimate experience. Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Would it be suitable for my 17-year-old son?

A: Yes, unfortunately, this tour is only open to those 21 and over since it involves drinking at the taverns. It might be a fun experience for you and your husband, but your son would have to sit this one out. You could look into other historical tours that are kid-friendly!

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is there a lot of walking involved?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must since there's a fair amount of walking along the Freedom Trail. I’d suggest wearing layers, especially if you're going in fall or spring, as it can get chilly in the evenings. Dress casually and you'll be all set to enjoy the tour!

A: If the weather’s really bad, they do offer rescheduling options! Just make sure to check their cancellation policy on the website, so you’re prepared. It's always best to keep an eye on the forecast as the date approaches.

Just did the Ye Olde Tavern Tours and had a blast!

I recently went on the Ye Olde Tavern Tours with my friends when we visited Boston. It was such a fun way to learn about the history while enjoying a drink! We hit up some amazing taverns and the guide had so many great stories about the Boston Massacre site. Definitely recommend for a fun night out! Prices are very reasonable for what you get, and all drinks were included. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!
