Q&A
A: You can keep it casual! Comfortable walking shoes are a must since you'll be strolling a lot. The weather can be unpredictable, so layering is a good idea—maybe a light jacket if it's breezy along the harbor. Just make sure you’re ready for some delicious food stops!
A: Yes! Kids are totally welcome on the tour, and it's great for them to learn about both the history and the food. Just keep in mind some of the food items might be a bit adventurous for picky eaters, but the lobster roll is a hit with most kids!
A: You can access the starting point easily by taking the T (subway) to Haymarket Station, which is close to Faneuil Hall. If you're driving, street parking can be tricky, but there are some garages nearby. Just plan ahead—it's best to arrive a bit early to find a spot!

Just did the Seafood Lovers Tour in Boston—worth it!
I went on the Boston Seafood Lovers Food and History Walking Tour last week, and it was amazing! The lobster roll from the oldest restaurant was massive and delicious. The chowder definitely lives up to its awards, and the tour guide was super knowledgeable. Plus, walking along the Freedom Trail while eating was such a unique experience! I’d recommend it for anyone who loves seafood and wants to learn some history.
Thinking of gifting the Seafood Tour—any tips?
I’m considering giving the Boston Seafood Lovers Tour to my dad for his birthday. He loves seafood but is a bit picky about what he eats. How was the variety? Any suggestions on who else might enjoy this tour?
