Q&A

Q: Is there a specific time I should plan for this bus tour? Like how long does it usually take?

A: The tour duration varies since it's hop-on, hop-off. A full loop without stops takes about 1.5 hours, but it's best to plan for at least 3-4 hours if you want to explore a few stops, grab food, etc. Just remember to get back on the bus by 4:00 PM at Stop 1!

Q: Are there any age restrictions for kids on this bus tour?

A: No age restrictions! It’s perfect for all ages. Children under 12 typically ride for free if accompanied by an adult. Just make sure to bring some snacks for the little ones since it can be a long ride!

Q: What’s the best time of year to do the Boston sightseeing tour? Is it okay in the winter?

A: Summer and fall are definitely the best times! The weather is perfect for an open-top bus. Winter can be chilly, but if you dress warmly, you can still enjoy it. Just check the weather before you go since some stops might be less crowded in winter.

Thinking about the Boston Sightseeing Tour - any tips?

I’m planning to gift my parents the double-decker tour bus pass for their anniversary! They love history and exploring new cities. Any tips on what to expect or the best routes to take? Also, how crowded does it usually get?

Just did the Boston Sightseeing Tour - awesome experience!

I just got back from the double-decker bus tour and wow, it was amazing! The guide knew so much about the city. We got off at a few spots like Quincy Market and took a bunch of pics. Definitely worth it if you’re looking to see a lot in a short time. Just remember to reboard before 4 PM!
