Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for the Boston Strong Sports Walking Tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no official age limit for the tour, but it’s a walking tour, so kiddos should be able to keep up with the pace. I took my 10-year-old, and he loved it! Just make sure they’re comfortable walking a fair bit, especially from the Marathon finish line to Fenway. Also, it’s a good idea to bring some snacks for younger kids!

Q: Is parking easy to find near the starting point for the tour?

A: Parking can be tricky around Copley Square, especially on weekends. There are a few garages nearby, but they can fill up fast. I’d recommend using public transport if you can—take the Green Line to Copley Station and you're right there! If you do drive, just give yourself extra time to find a spot.

Q: What should I wear for the Boston Strong Sports Walking Tour?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! You’ll be doing a fair amount of walking, and Boston's streets can be a bit uneven. Dress in layers, too, since it can get windy near Fenway! If it’s sunny, a hat and sunscreen are a must, especially if you’re doing this in the summer.

Thinking of giving the Boston Strong Sports Walking Tour as a birthday gift!

Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Boston Strong Sports Walking Tour for my dad’s birthday since he loves sports history. I love that it ends at Fenway Park, and he’s a huge Sox fan! Has anyone done this? How was the tour? Would it be good for someone who’s not super fit?

Anyone have tips for the Boston Strong Sports Walking Tour?

I’m heading to Boston next week and planning to go on the sports walking tour. I’m super excited, but a little nervous about the walking part. Any tips on what to see or do afterward? Is there a good food spot nearby?
