Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this trip? I'm thinking of taking my 8-year-old.

A: Great question, Andy! There’s no specific age limit for kids, but I'd say it's perfect for children who can handle a full day out. The trip is pretty chill, and there's plenty of scenery to keep them entertained. Just make sure they’re good with a bit of time in the van and the walking on Marginal Way.

Q: How does the trolley tour work? Can we buy tickets on the day of the trip?

A: You can definitely buy trolley tickets on the day when you get to Kennebunkport, but I’d recommend doing it early since spots can fill up fast. The tour lasts about an hour and gives you a great overview of the town, plus some fun facts. Just remember it's extra on top of the trip cost!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can reschedule your trip with New England Trips. They’re pretty flexible and want you to enjoy the experience! Make sure to check their policy on their website for more details, though.

Just got back from the Boston to Kennebunkport Day Trip! Amazing views!

I just did the day trip and it was phenomenal! The ride to York was so scenic, and seeing Nubble Lighthouse in person was breathtaking. The walk along Marginal Way was perfect, my friends and I snapped so many pics. We spent a couple of hours in Kennebunkport just exploring and grabbing lunch. Totally worth it! If you're considering it for a gift, go for it!

Thinking about gifting this trip for my parents' anniversary!

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting this day trip for my parents. They love the ocean and have been wanting to visit Maine. Do you think they'd enjoy the trolley tour? Also, how’s the food in Kennebunkport? Any recommendations?
