Planning to gift the Boston to Plymouth day-trip – any tips?

I’m thinking of giving this trip as a gift for my mom’s birthday! It sounds like an awesome experience, especially with all the history at Plimoth Patuxet. How long do we have to explore Plymouth after lunch? Also, any recommendations for lunch spots near the harbor?

Just got back from the day trip! So worth it!

Wow, this Boston to Plymouth day-trip was amazing! The scenery through Quincy and along the coast was gorgeous. I loved exploring the Plimoth Patuxet Museum and the story behind Plymouth Rock. Our guide was super knowledgeable. The best part was definitely seeing the Mayflower II! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique gift or just a fun day out!
