Q: Is there an age limit for this e-bike tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes! Kids aged 12 and up can participate, but they should be comfortable riding a bike. The guides are great at making sure everyone is safe and having fun. If you have younger kids, maybe check if they can safely ride along on a tag-along bike or something similar.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it super strenuous?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable athletic clothes and sturdy shoes—definitely no flip-flops! The e-bikes help a lot, but there are some steeper areas so being in decent shape will help. You’ll have fun, but it’s not a walk in the park.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the tour day? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, they usually reach out to reschedule. The e-biking can get tricky with rain and mud. They’re super accommodating, so don’t worry about that! Just keep an eye on the forecast.

Hey all! I'm considering the Boulder Backroads E-Bike Dirt Road Tour as a gift for my boyfriend. He loves biking but hasn’t tried an e-bike yet. The tour looks amazing, especially the Switzerland Trail! I’m just wondering if anyone has done this and how challenging the terrain is? Would he be okay if he's used to road biking but not mountain biking?

Just did the Boulder E-Bike Tour and it was epic!

I went on the Boulder Backroads E-Bike Dirt Road Tour last weekend and wow, what a ride! The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The e-bikes were a blast—felt like flying up the trails. The viewpoint was worth the stop for photos. Honestly, this is such a fun experience you could gift anyone who loves outdoor activities!
