We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd say it's best suited for ages 12 and up. Kids younger than that may need an adult to help with the clues and tech stuff. Just make sure they can handle a bit of walking and can use a smartphone since that's how you interact with the live guide!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day we book? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather's really bad, you can definitely reschedule! Alley Kat Adventures is pretty flexible about that. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know. Also, check if you need to postpone due to severe weather warnings, like heavy rain or snow. It’s all about keeping everyone safe and having fun.

Q: What should we wear for the Boulder Dash? Is it strenuous?

A: You want to be comfy! Wear sneakers or sturdy shoes since you’ll be walking around Boulder. It's not super strenuous, but there’s definitely some walking involved. Dress for the weather, and maybe bring a light jacket if it's chilly. Just keep it casual—no need for fancy stuff!
