Q&A

Q: Are there age restrictions for the distillery tours?

A: Yes, most distilleries have a minimum age requirement of 21 for tastings. If you're taking a group with younger members, you might want to check with each distillery for their specific policies. But usually, they allow minors as long as they're accompanied by an adult.

Q: How much should I plan to spend overall for a full day tour?

A: It really depends on how many distilleries you visit and what you choose to do at each one. Individual tastings can range from $5 to $20 per person. Add in transportation costs from Bluegrass, and I'd budget around $100-$150 per person for a fun day out. Definitely worth it if you're a bourbon fan!

Q: Can I choose which distilleries we visit, and how do we do that?

A: Yes! You can customize your tour based on your group's preferences. Just reach out to Bluegrass Executive Transportation, and they'll help you put together the perfect itinerary. They know all the great spots, so they're super helpful in making recommendations too!

Just did a distillery tour in Louisville, and it was epic!

I just got back from a bourbon distillery tour with Bluegrass Executive Transportation and I can't recommend it enough! We visited Makers Mark and Buffalo Trace, and it was the best day out. The private transportation was super comfy, and our driver was really knowledgeable. We even got to hand-fill our own bottles which felt so special! If you're thinking of doing this as a gift for someone, go for it! Price-wise, we spent about $120 each with tastings and all. Totally worth every penny!

Considering a distillery tour for my dad's birthday, any tips?

I'm planning a bourbon distillery tour for my dad's birthday, and I've heard great things about the Bluegrass tours. Any tips on which distilleries to prioritize? He loves Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace. Also, how's the food on these tours? Trying to make it a full day thing!
