Q&A
A: This adventure is designed to be family-friendly, so kids as young as 8 can participate, but it really depends on their comfort level with heights and hiking. It's a great way to introduce kids to outdoor activities! Just make sure they're active enough and ready for some fun challenges.
A: Yes, if the weather looks dangerous or unfavorable, they’ll let you reschedule for another day. Just reach out to Canyon Country Adventures ahead of time! They want everyone to have a great experience, so they’re pretty flexible with those kinds of changes.
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes! Sturdy sneakers can work, but if you have hiking boots, those are better for traction on the rocks. Dress in layers since it can get warm during the hike but cooler when you’re rappelling. And don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Anyone done the Bow and Arrow Canyon hike and rappel? Need tips!
I’m thinking about gifting this experience to my partner for his birthday. I love that it combines hiking and some excitement with the rappelling! How easy is the rappel part? I want to make sure he’ll actually enjoy it and not be freaked out. Also, what’s the scenery like?
Just did the Bow and Arrow Canyon hike and rappel! So fun!
I went last weekend, and it was amazing! The guides were super helpful and made sure everyone felt safe. The rock art was such a cool touch too. I can't believe how much fun the rappelling was! I was nervous at first, but they really walk you through everything. Highly recommend it!
