Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the Brewery 5K Fun Run, so kids can definitely join! Just keep in mind that the event is designed for adults, so you might want to check with the brewery about their specific rules for minors. If your kids are active and can handle a 5K, it should be a blast! Just make sure they’re ready for some BBQ afterward!
A: Definitely keep it casual! You’ll want comfortable running shoes and breathable athletic wear since it’s an active event. Remember, it can get hot in Austin, so dress accordingly. Bring a light jacket or sweater for after the run if you're sensitive to cooler temps! And don’t forget sunscreen!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Waggles Adventure Tours is pretty flexible with their bookings. Just make sure to give them a heads-up at least 24 hours before your scheduled run. They want everyone to have a great time, so it’s good to communicate if anything changes!

Just did the Brewery 5K and it was AMAZING!
I went to the Brewery 5K Fun Run two weeks ago at 4th Tap Brewing Co. and wow, what a great way to kick off the weekend! The run was super chill and the free beer afterward was a nice reward. Terry Black's BBQ was obviously a highlight—those ribs were to die for! Plus, the Bullock Museum tour afterward was really interesting. Perfect gift for someone who loves fitness and good food!
Thinking of gifting this experience, but hesitant!
I’m considering gifting the Brewery 5K experience to my friend who’s into running and BBQ. She’s never been to Austin, and I think this would be perfect. But I’m a little worried about her level of fitness. Is it really beginner-friendly or more for serious runners? Anyone know?
