Q&A
A: Evening is definitely the best time to see the lights when they’re all lit up! If you can, aim for a weekday rather than a weekend. Weekends can get pretty packed with tourists and locals, so you might spend more time in traffic than enjoying the lights. Going on a weekday will give you a more relaxed experience.
A: No age restrictions that I know of! Young kids are totally welcome, and they usually love the lights and decorations. Just make sure to bring a stroller if your little one isn’t walking yet, as there’s quite a bit of walking involved during the tour.
A: Parking can be tricky during the Christmas season since Dyker Heights gets super crowded. If you're driving, I'd recommend arriving early to hunt for a spot. Alternatively, consider using public transport or ride-sharing to avoid the hassle altogether. It’ll make your night way more fun!

Thinking of gifting the Dyker Heights Christmas Wonderland Tour!
Hey everyone! I’m looking into getting the Dyker Heights Christmas Wonderland Bus Tour for my family this holiday season. I’ve heard it’s absolutely magical with all the lights and decorations! What’s it like during the week? I want to make sure we have a great experience and not get stuck in traffic. Any tips would be appreciated!
Just got back from the Dyker Heights tour!
Wow, what an experience! We went last Saturday and I was blown away by how festive everything was. The decorations are over the top in the best way possible. The kids absolutely loved the giant inflatables! Definitely worth it if you love Christmas lights. Oh, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the neighborhood’s history.
