Q&A
A: Yes, the Browns Canyon rafting adventure is suitable for ages 6 and up! It's a great option for families, so you can bring your kids along for some fun on the water. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water since there will be some Class 3 rapids.
A: It's best to wear quick-drying clothes like swim shorts or synthetic fabrics. They provide comfort and dry faster if you get wet! Also, don’t forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel because you will get splashed. They provide wetsuits and splash jackets, so that helps too!
A: If the weather is really bad, they usually cancel for safety reasons and will allow you to reschedule for another day. Just make sure to check the provider’s policy when you book. They seem pretty flexible about it, but it’s always good to have a backup plan!

Just did the Browns Canyon rafting and it was epic!
I took my family rafting on the Arkansas River last week. We did the Browns Canyon half-day trip and it was a blast! The rapids were exciting, but not too intense, which was perfect for my kids (ages 8 and 10). The scenery was gorgeous too—lush greenery everywhere! Definitely worth the price, and we got to use their wetsuits and jackets which made it comfortable. We’re thinking of going again next summer!
Considering Browns Canyon for a gift—any thoughts?
I’m looking to buy the Browns Canyon rafting experience as a gift for my cousin's family. They’ve never been rafting before, and I think this would be a perfect introduction! Has anyone done it recently? How was the experience and logistics for parking? Just want to make sure it’s a good idea!
