Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Bryce Canyon Hiking Challenge? My kids are 7 and 10.

A: There's no strict age limit, but younger kids should be comfortable hiking for about 5 hours. It’s a good idea to check in with the provider beforehand, especially if your kids are on the younger side. They can probably recommend trails that are more kid-friendly. Just make sure everyone's got good shoes and some energy for the hike!

Q: What should we wear for the hike? Is it pretty rugged?

A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes with good grip. The trails can be rocky and uneven, so sturdy footwear is key. I’d recommend wearing layers since it can get chilly in the morning but warm up during the day. Also, don't forget a hat and sunscreen!

Q: What are the parking arrangements like at Bryce Canyon? Is it hard to find?

A: Parking can be tricky, especially during peak season, but that's where the guided tour helps! They know the best spots to park and avoid the crowds. If you’re driving, try to arrive early. Otherwise, just relax and let the tour handle it. They’ll take you straight from the parking area to the trails!

I just got back from the Bryce Canyon Hiking Challenge and wow, it was incredible! The guides are super knowledgeable and took us on some stunning trails. We got to see all the best spots without getting lost or stuck in tourist traps. And they provided snacks and water, which was a lifesaver! Highly recommend it as a gift for any nature lover out there.

Thinking of gifting the Bryce Canyon Hiking Challenge!

I'm considering getting the Bryce Canyon Hiking Challenge for my husband’s birthday. He loves hiking but hasn't been to Bryce yet. Anyone have recommendations on whether this is a good idea? What kind of trails do they take you on?
