From Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and Tony Award-winning director David Cromer comes the Broadway premiere of Steppenwolf’s acclaimed staging of a cult classic about an unexpected and intense romance between a lonely waitress and a mysterious drifter. What begins as a simple connection between two broken people in a seedy Oklahoma motel room twists into something far more dangerous. When reality slips out of grasp, paranoia, delusion, and conspiracy take over in this sexy psychological thriller. The New York Times warns, "Buckle up and brace yourself because Bug is obscenely exciting." Phones Locked: To protect the privacy of our performers, this show is partnering with Yondr to ensure performances are phone-free. Upon arrival, all phones must be powered off and locked in Yondr pouches. Guests maintain possession of their phones and can unlock them at intermission as needed. All pouches will be opened at the end of the performance.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Bug on Broadway show?

A: Bug is recommended for mature audiences due to its themes and intense content. There isn’t a strict age limit, but I’d say it's more suitable for teens and adults. If you're considering it for younger kids, you might want to check reviews to see if it matches what they can handle.

Q: What should I wear to the Bug show? Is there a dress code?

A: There's no strict dress code for Bug on Broadway, but most people opt for smart casual. A nice dress or slacks with a nice top should work. Just make sure you're comfy since the show can be intense!

Q: How does the phone locking work for the Bug show?

A: When you arrive, you'll hand your phone over to be locked in a Yondr pouch. You can carry it around with you but won't be able to use it during the show. They unlock the pouches at intermission, so you can check everything then. It sounds weird, but it actually helps keep the focus on the performance!

Just saw Bug on Broadway - wow!

I bought tickets for Bug on Broadway as a surprise for my partner’s birthday. It was a wild ride! The acting is phenomenal, and the whole thing is just a total mind-bender. The locked phone thing felt weird at first, but I totally forgot about it once the show started. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, but I'd recommend it for anyone who loves intense thrillers. Just wanted to share how awesome it was!

Considering Bug for my best friend's birthday - need advice!

So, I’m thinking about getting Bug tickets for my best friend. She loves psychological thrillers but I’m a bit worried it might be too much for her. Has anyone seen it? How intense is it really? I want it to be a great gift, not something that’ll freak her out!
