Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the BYOB sunset cruise?

A: There isn't a specific weight limit mentioned, but the boat is designed to accommodate a good number of guests comfortably. Just keep in mind it might get a bit crowded if it’s a busy night. If you have concerns, I’d recommend contacting Living Ocean Tours directly for info on their boat capacity.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?

A: If the weather looks bad, they typically will reschedule or offer a refund if the cruise can’t go out. It’s best to call them a couple of hours before your cruise to check. They’re pretty flexible as long as they know in advance.

Q: Can kids go on the sunset cruise, or is it strictly for adults?

A: It’s mostly geared towards adults since it’s BYOB, but kids are allowed if accompanied by an adult. I think it’d be a great family experience if you want to include older kids! Just check with Living Ocean Tours to see if they're okay with younger children.

Thinking about buying a sunset cruise for my partner's birthday!

I found this BYOB sunset cruise off the Waikiki Coast, and it sounds amazing! 90 minutes of sailing while enjoying snacks and drinks? Yes, please! I’m worried about the parking though—is it easy to find a spot near Kewalo Basin? Has anyone done this before?

Just went on the sunset cruise and it was epic!

I did the BYOB sunset cruise last week and wow, it was worth every penny! The views of Diamond Head were stunning and the snacks were really nice. We took our cooler with some drinks, and the crew was super chill about it. Definitely a perfect way to unwind after exploring Oahu all day. Highly recommend it for a romantic evening!
