Just did the Cades Cove Bus Tour and it was awesome!

I took the Cades Cove Sightseeing Bus Tour last weekend and wow, it was beautiful! The views of the Smokies are breathtaking, and the guide really knew his stuff. We saw deer and even a black bear off in the distance! It’s about 5 hours long, so wear comfy shoes. I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my parents for their anniversary. Anyone else done it?

Considering the Cades Cove Sightseeing Tour for a family gift.

I’m looking at the bus tour for my in-laws since they love nature. It’s priced at $0 which is awesome! I’m curious if anyone knows the best times to go for wildlife spotting. Also, how's the seating? Is it all good or are some seats better for views?
