Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to go on this tour? I want to make it a gift for my sister.

A: Spring and fall are generally the best times to visit the Mojave Desert. The weather is milder, and you won't have to deal with extreme heat. I went in late September, and it was perfect for taking photos at the Seven Magic Mountains! Just make sure to bring water and sunscreen no matter when you go.

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? I wanna take my kids.

A: There’s no official age limit, but keep in mind that younger kids might get bored since some parts require a bit of walking. I’ve seen families with kids as young as 5 enjoying the tour, though! Just make sure they’re ready for some sun and a bit of hiking.

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Is it casual?

A: Definitely go casual! I wore lightweight pants and a breathable t-shirt, which were perfect for the desert heat. A hat and sunglasses are also a must to protect from the sun. Comfortable shoes are important because you’ll be walking around for pictures. Just be prepared for some dust!

Just did the California Desert tour and WOW!

I took the California Desert tour to see the Seven Magic Mountains and Red Rock Canyon last weekend, and it was amazing! The views were breathtaking, especially during sunset. We stopped a few times for photo ops, and the guide was super friendly and informative. I was a bit worried about the heat but they provided plenty of water. Definitely worth it for anyone who loves nature and photography!

Considering this tour for a group outing!

Hey everyone! I’m planning a fun outing for a group of friends and came across this California Desert tour experience. I think the Seven Magic Mountains would be a hit! Just curious if anyone's done it with a group? How was the atmosphere and did you guys have enough time for photos?
