Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Camelback E-Bike & Hike Tour?

A: Great question! Kids as young as 12 can join the tour, but they need to be able to ride the e-bike safely. Make sure they have some experience with bikes. The hike is pretty easy, so it’s perfect for younger adventurers as long as they can follow along. Just remember to check with the tour provider if you're unsure about anything!

Q: What should I wear for the Camelback E-Bike & Hike Tour? Is it hot in September?

A: Good question! In September, it can still be pretty warm in Scottsdale, so wear lightweight, breathable clothing. I recommend comfy athletic shoes for both biking and hiking. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat! You might also want to bring a light jacket if you tend to get chilly after the sun goes down.

Q: Can this tour be rescheduled if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your tour! Just be sure to contact the provider at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty accommodating, but it’s always best to give them a heads up. If you have a specific date in mind, try to reschedule as soon as you can.

Anyone else feel nervous about the e-bikes for the Camelback Tour?

So I’m thinking of booking the Camelback E-Bike & Hike Tour, but I’m a bit nervous about riding the e-bikes. I’m not super experienced with biking. How steep is the ride and is there a lot of traffic? Would it be okay for a beginner?
