Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the canyoneering adventure? I wanna take my kids!

A: Great question! Epic Adventures AZ recommends that participants be at least 10 years old for the canyoneering adventure. Kids younger than that might struggle with the climbing and repelling. It's definitely a fun family activity as long as the kiddos are old enough and ready for a bit of adventure!

Q: What should I wear for this canyoneering adventure? Any recommendations?

A: Wear comfy, quick-drying clothes like a swimsuit and a rash guard or a lightweight t-shirt. Definitely bring good water shoes or sandals with a strap—you're gonna be in and out of water a lot. And don't forget sunscreen and a hat; the sun can be strong in Scottsdale!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the adventure? Can you reschedule?

A: If the weather looks sketchy, you can usually reschedule your adventure without any problem. Epic Adventures AZ will let you know about cancellations due to unsafe conditions. Just make sure to check their policy when you book; they’re pretty flexible. I'd recommend giving them a call directly if you’re worried!

I just did the canyoneering adventure with Epic Adventures AZ and wow, it was incredible! We got to scramble through these gorgeous canyons, repel into a pool, and slide down a natural water slide. Seriously, it felt like a movie scene! The guides were super friendly and made sure we were all safe. I can't recommend this enough for anyone looking for a fun day out. I'm already planning to go again!

Is this canyoneering experience good for beginners?

I'm thinking of getting this canyoneering adventure as a gift for my friend who’s never done anything like this before. Is it too intense for a beginner? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s done it!
