Escape the big city for a day on Cape Cod, a top yet unassuming summer retreat in New England. Pristine beaches and excellent whale watching opportunities await those looking to stay close to the ocean. Quaint bed and breakfasts and picturesque seaside cottages welcome visitors escaping bustling cities, looking to recharge away from it all. A paradise for seafood lovers, the Cape serves everything from oysters to clam chowder and lobster rolls.  This experience begins with a private helicopter charter from Manhattan directly to Cape Cod with 4-5 hours to spend on the ground while your helicopter waits. After 4-5 hours you will return to the airport and will fly back to Manhattan, concluding the day with a quick skyline tour of New York City before landing. Choose one of the following airports for your day trip: Chatham, Hyannis or Provincetown. Meals, activity costs and ground transportation costs on Cape Cod are not included in the price of this experience.

Q&A

Q: How do you handle rescheduling if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, Wings Air will reach out to you to discuss alternatives. They can help reschedule for another day, and they're usually pretty flexible. Just make sure to check the forecast a few days prior to your trip, as sometimes they can call off flights ahead of time if storms are expected.

Q: What’s the best time of year to do this trip?

A: Late spring to early fall is ideal for a Cape Cod trip. July and August can be really crowded but you’ll get the best beach weather. If you go in early September, you might still catch warm temps without the summer rush. Just keep an eye out for any local events too!

Q: Is there an age limit for this helicopter trip?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids need to be at least 2 years old to fly. Also, be sure they can wear a seatbelt properly since safety is a top priority. If you have little ones, I’d recommend bringing some snacks and games to keep them entertained for the ride!

Just booked a Cape Cod helicopter trip and I’m so excited!

I just got this Cape Cod Day Trip from Manhattan by Helicopter for my boyfriend's birthday! The idea of flying over the city and then relaxing at the beach sounds amazing. I picked Hyannis as our destination. I can’t wait to dig into some fresh lobster rolls! I have a few questions though: does anyone know what I should wear? And should I bring cash for food or is everything card-friendly?

Help! Can anyone share their Cape Cod helicopter trip experience?

Thinking about buying this Cape Cod day trip for my parents’ anniversary! They love seafood but have never been to Cape Cod, and I think the helicopter ride would blow their minds! What’s the best way to spend the 4-5 hours on the ground? Any tips appreciated!
