Q&A

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather's bad on the day of the tour?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Signature Tours offers flexibility in case of bad weather. Just contact them at least 24 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find a new date. That said, keep an eye on the forecast since August storms can be unpredictable!

Q: What should I wear for the walking parts of the tour?

A: Comfort is key! Wear comfy shoes since you'll be doing a lot of walking, especially around Capitol Hill and Arlington. I recommend dressing in layers because mornings can be chilly, but it warms up during the day. Also, check the forecast to decide if you need rain gear!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? Any age recommendations?

A: Absolutely! Kids will love the monuments and the stories behind them. I took my 10-year-old, and he thought the Lincoln Memorial was super cool. Just keep in mind the walking parts can be tiring, so plan for breaks and snacks. Ages 7 and up would probably enjoy it the most!

Just did the Capitol Hill tour, and it was AMAZING!

I recently took the Capitol Hill tour with Signature Tours, and wow, what an experience! The guided walk around the Capitol was super informative, and going inside the US Capitol was definitely a highlight for me. The Arlington Cemetery tour was also really moving, especially the Changing of the Guards. The night bus tour was the perfect way to end the day - the monuments lit up at night were breathtaking. Highly recommend it if you’re in DC!

Thinking of gifting the Capitol Hill tour to my parents!

My parents love history, and I'm considering getting them the Capitol Hill tour experience. They’ve been to DC before but never done a guided tour like this. I think they’d really enjoy the mix of walking and riding around to all the memorials. Has anyone done this as a gift? How did the recipients like it?
