Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather's not ideal! Just call Kona Coast Boat Tours directly, and they’re super accommodating. They monitor conditions closely, so if it’s unsafe to go out, they'll give you options for another day. Just make sure to reach out as soon as you can.

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling part?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a light cover-up! Water shoes are a great idea too since the rocks can be rough. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat if you're sensitive to the sun—you're gonna be out there for a few hours!

Q: Is this snorkeling experience good for kids? What age is appropriate?

A: Absolutely! This tour is suitable for all levels, including kids. As long as they're comfortable in the water and wearing a life jacket, they'll have a blast. Just make sure to keep an eye on them, especially since it can get a bit deep in places.

Thinking about gifting the Captain Cook snorkeling experience, any thoughts?

I’m planning to surprise my partner with this Captain Cook Reef snorkeling tour for their birthday! They love the ocean but have never snorkeled before. I’m a bit nervous about how they’ll handle it since they can be a little anxious in new situations. But it sounds like a great experience with the picnic lunch and everything! Has anyone done this? Any tips?

Just got back from the Captain Cook snorkel tour, here’s my review!

Wow, what an amazing experience! We saw dolphins and tons of colorful fish! The guides at Kona Coast Boat Tours were so friendly. They provided all the gear and even a yummy lunch. There were plenty of snacks too, which was perfect after swimming around. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Kealakekua Bay!
