Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? My kids are 8 and 10.

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit for the Kenai Fjords tour. Kids are totally welcome, and it can be a fantastic experience for them. Just make sure they're comfortable with boat rides since it can get a bit choppy. Bring some snacks and maybe a jacket for them, just in case the weather changes.

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: Totally understand the concern! If weather conditions are unsafe, the tour is usually cancelled for safety. In that case, you can reschedule or get a refund. Just check with the provider for their specific policy. It's a good idea to book for a day with a flexible calendar.

Q: What’s the best way to dress for the cruise? Any tips?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can be chilly out on the water, especially near the glaciers. I’d recommend a waterproof jacket, and maybe a light beanie and gloves for comfort. Also, wear non-slip shoes; the deck can get slippery. The tour offers lunch, so you don't need to worry about that!

Just got back from the Kenai Fjords Tour! Wow!

I just did the Captain's Choice tour, and it was AMAZING! The captain chose such a perfect route, we saw a humpback whale breach right next to the boat! The glaciers were stunning, and the onboard wildlife guide was super informative. Lunch was included, which was a nice surprise. Totally worth it for the price! Anyone else done this?

Thinking about gifting the Kenai Fjords Tour!

I want to surprise my partner with this tour for our anniversary. We both love nature and exploring new places. Just wondering if it’s romantic enough? Also, is the food good? I’ve read mixed reviews.
