Q&A
A: The tour is generally suitable for kids 6 and up, but it really depends on their comfort level with being out on the water in the dark. Families are welcome, and it can be a magical experience for kids who love nature! Just check with the provider when booking to confirm any age restrictions.
A: If weather conditions are unsafe, they will usually cancel the tour and offer to reschedule or provide a full refund. They've got a good track record of making safety a priority, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Just keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly once the sun goes down, so a warm jacket is a must. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little damp. And don't forget a hat or beanie for warmth, especially if you’re going in late summer!

Just did the Cascade Lakes Moonlight Canoe Tour, and wow!
I went on the Moonlight and Starlight Canoe Tour last weekend and it was incredible! The sunset over the Cascade Mountains was breathtaking. We got to stargaze while sipping on hot cocoa and snacking on the most delicious brownie from this local bakery. The guides were super knowledgeable and shared great stories about the area. Seriously, I highly recommend this for anyone in Bend! It feels magical out there at night.
Looking to buy the Moonlight Canoe Tour as a gift! Any advice?
I’m thinking of getting this canoe tour for my boyfriend's birthday, but I’m not sure if it’s too adventurous for him. He’s not super outdoorsy but loves a good view and a nice drink! Is this something a casual person would enjoy? What do you all think?
