Q: What should I wear for the Castle Hill part of the tour? Is there a lot of walking involved?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes since there’s quite a bit of walking, especially around Castle Hill and the gardens. I’d recommend dressing in layers too, as the weather can be unpredictable near the coast. A light jacket works well for the sea breeze!

Q: Is this tour good for kids? What ages would you recommend?

A: It really depends on the kids! The tour is engaging for older kids (8+) who can appreciate the history and architecture. Younger kids might enjoy the outdoor spaces but could get restless during the guided parts. We brought our 10 and 12-year-olds, and they had a blast exploring!

Q: How flexible is the schedule if we need to reschedule?

A: The provider, Travel By Vogue, is usually pretty accommodating with reschedules, especially if you let them know in advance. It's best to call or email them directly to discuss your options. Just be aware that weekends can be busier, so it might be tougher to find new dates.

I went on this tour last weekend, and wow, it was amazing! Castle Hill is breathtaking; the gardens are stunning and so well kept. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history come alive! Ending at Russell Orchards with fresh cider was the perfect touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice day out!
