Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but the tour is more enjoyable for adults and teens. Kids are welcome, though! Just keep in mind that some tastings may not be appealing to younger kids. It's best for those who can appreciate the dining experience and the history behind it. Make sure to check with the provider if you have specific concerns!
A: Dress comfortably! Since it's a food tour, you might be walking a bit. I recommend light layers, especially if you're going in the morning when it's cooler. And definitely comfortable shoes—you'll want to enjoy the views without sore feet. Don't forget sunscreen; the sun can be strong out there!
A: They usually check the weather beforehand and will contact you if there's a need to reschedule. If it’s really bad, they might offer a different date or a full refund. Just make sure to keep an eye on your emails or messages from them a couple of days before your tour!

Thinking about gifting the Catalina Food Tour, has anyone done it?
I’m considering this Catalina Food Tour for my foodie friend’s birthday! I love that it’s small group and includes local tastings. The idea of learning about the history while enjoying food sounds perfect. What can I expect in terms of the food? Is it all seafood or do they offer other options? Any tips for making the day extra special?
Just did the Catalina Food Tour – WOW!
I went on the Catalina Food Tour last week and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide was so fun and we got to try 6 different places. The local history mixed with food was a perfect combo. The views while walking were stunning too. Just a heads up, parking can be tough if you drive over, but totally worth it!
