Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the food tour?

A: No age restrictions! This food tour is perfect for everyone, from kids to seniors. Just keep in mind that some of the food can be rich and a little spicy, so maybe check with younger kids beforehand. But trust me, they'll love the cheesesteaks and whoopie pies!

Q: What if it rains? Will the tour still happen?

A: The tour runs rain or shine! Just be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Some parts will be indoors at the Reading Terminal Market, but you might still get wet walking around outside. A poncho or umbrella is a good idea!

Q: What's the best way to dress for this tour? Is there a lot of walking?

A: Comfort is key! You’ll definitely be doing a fair amount of walking, so wear some comfy shoes. Dress in layers since you're going to be in and out of shops and the market, which can be chilly. Plus, you’ll want to have room for all the food you'll be eating!

Just did the Center City Food Tour - Must-try spots!

I just got back from the Center City Philly food tour and it was AWESOME! The cheesesteak was everything I hoped for, and the soft pretzel was fresh and warm. The guide was super knowledgeable, took us to some hidden gems in Reading Terminal Market. If you're planning to go, try to save room for the cannoli – it was to die for! Definitely a fun experience whether you’re a local or just visiting.

Thinking of gifting the food tour - any tips?

I’m considering gifting the Center City food tour to my foodie friend’s birthday. She’s a huge fan of trying new foods, but I’m worried about how much walking there is. Can anyone share if it’s too much for someone who's not super fit? Also, are the food samples enough to fill you up? I want her to have a blast!
