Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participating in the Pilates classes at Central Park?

A: There's no strict age limit for the classes, but they do recommend that participants be at least 12 years old. It’s great for all levels, so if your gift recipient is younger, just make sure they can follow along! They're super accommodating to different abilities, so everyone gets a fun workout.

Q: What should I wear to the Pilates class in Central Park? Is it super casual?

A: You'll want to wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Leggings and a fitted top are perfect. Since it's outdoors, I’d also suggest layers in case it gets chilly! Just make sure you bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Q: If the weather's bad, do they cancel the Pilates classes?

A: Yes, they do cancel classes if the weather is severe, like heavy rain or thunderstorms. They usually notify you via email or text if you’ve booked a class. But if it’s just drizzling, they’ll typically go ahead. It’s always good to check their social media for updates!

Considering Central Park Pilates as a gift — Need advice!

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of gifting my sister a Central Park Pilates class for her birthday. She’s never done Pilates before, but loves being outdoors. Have you guys tried it? Is the environment chill for newbies? Also, how’s the instructor? Would she feel comfortable?

Just had the best Pilates class in Central Park!

Wow, I can’t recommend Central Park Pilates enough! I went last week for the first time, and it was such a rejuvenating experience. The instructor was amazing and made sure to help everyone, regardless of their skill level. Plus, the setting is just perfect. I actually felt like I was on a little vacation in the city!
