Q: Is there an age limit for this dive experience? I'm thinking of getting it for my 16-year-old son.

A: Yes, there is a minimum age requirement for this dive experience. Divers must be at least 12 years old to participate, as long as they have a parent or guardian's consent if they're under 18. It's a great way for teens to explore the ocean, especially with the chance to see sea turtles and sharks!

Q: What should I wear for the dive? Do I need my own wetsuit?

A: You don’t need to bring your own wetsuit! Dive Oahu provides all the gear you need, including wetsuits, so just wear your swimsuit and maybe a rash guard if you’re sensitive to the sun. A pair of water shoes can be helpful, too, since you'll be getting on and off the boat and into the water.

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day we booked? Can we reschedule easily?

A: If the weather is bad, Dive Oahu will contact you to reschedule. They typically have a 24-hour cancellation policy, but if it’s a safety issue, they’ll work with you to find another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your dive!

Just got back from the wreck dive in Oahu, and WOW!

I just did the 2-tank deep wreck and shallow reef dive with Dive Oahu, and it was incredible! The wreck site was so cool, and we saw a bunch of sharks and even a couple of turtles! The guides were super knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to gift something special to an avid diver. It’s totally worth it!
