Q&A
A: The ghost tour is generally suitable for ages 12 and up. Kids can join, but keep in mind some of the stories might be a bit intense for younger ones. If you're bringing kids, maybe prep them with some fun background on local legends to get them excited!
A: The best time for the ghost tour is definitely around Halloween – it adds to the spooky vibe! Fall weather in Charlottesville is usually pleasant but be prepared for cooler nights. If it rains, tours usually run unless it's a severe storm, so dress accordingly!
A: Parking can be tricky near downtown, especially on weekends. I recommend arriving early to find a spot. There are public lots a few blocks away, but be sure to check the signs for fees. Walking is a great option if you're nearby!

Just did the Chains, Coffins, & Curses tour in Charlottesville!
Wow, what an experience! We went last weekend, and the stories were super creepy yet fascinating. Our guide really knew the history of each spot. The whole vibe of walking through the city at night, paired with the ghostly tales, was just incredible. If you're considering gifting this, I say go for it! Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes, it's about two hours and you do a fair bit of walking.
Thinking of gifting the ghost tour for my partner's birthday!
I’ve heard so many good things about the Chains, Coffins, & Curses tour. My partner loves spooky stuff, and I think this would be a perfect surprise. I just wanna make sure it’s not too much walking for them. Any tips or suggestions?
