As you embark on our 2-hour journey, you'll witness some of the most spectacular scenes enjoyed in coastal South Carolina. Our goal for our guests is to search for bottlenose dolphins and local species of birds while taking pleasure in the splendid scenery along the way. Bottlenose dolphins, well known for their intelligence, friendly disposition, and smiling faces, have been interacting with humans for centuries and seem to have as much interest in us as we have in them. They often swim near the boat, lifting their heads out of the water to get a glance at all the people on-board. Our South Carolina shores offer breathtaking beauty that becomes a serene portrait aboard our boat where we see dolphin jump and play. The Charleston coast is home to a wide variety of birds of prey, waterfowl, wading birds, terns and gulls, and shorebirds.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the dolphin tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the dolphin tour, but I'd say it's best suited for kids who are at least 5 years old. They need to be able to stay seated and listen to the guide. Just make sure they're comfortable on a boat and can handle a couple of hours out on the water. It's a great family outing!

Q: What should we wear for the dolphin tour? Is it windy on the water?

A: Definitely dress for comfort! I'd recommend wearing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. It can get windy out there, so maybe a light jacket if you're sensitive to the chill. Waterproof shoes could be a good idea too, just in case you get splashed. Enjoy the ride!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn't safe, they'll usually cancel or reschedule the tour. You'll get a full refund or the option to pick a new date. Just keep an eye on the forecast a few days before your trip. They’re super accommodating about this!

Just did the Charleston Dolphin Tour! Here’s my experience!

Hey everyone! I just got back from the private dolphin tour in Charleston, and wow, it was amazing! We saw so many dolphins jumping around us, and the guides were super knowledgeable about the local wildlife. The boat ride was a beautiful way to spend the afternoon. I’d highly recommend this as a gift for families or anyone who loves nature. Worth every penny!

Thinking of gifting the dolphin tour! Need advice!

I’m considering getting the Charleston dolphin tour for my parents' anniversary. They love the beach and wildlife! Has anyone done this? I’m worried about parking and if it’s okay for older folks. Any tips?
