Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this shark tooth trip?

A: There’s no age limit, and kids usually love it! The boat is safe for all ages, and the island is easy to explore. Just keep an eye on younger ones near the water. It's a great family activity!

Q: What should we wear for the trip to Folly Beach? Is it muddy?

A: Wear comfy clothes and definitely flip-flops or water shoes! The beach can be sandy but there are some muddy spots depending on the tide. I'd recommend bringing a hat and sunglasses too.

Q: How do rescheduling or cancellations work if it rains?

A: If the weather looks bad, Jim usually contacts you the day before to reschedule. It’s flexible, and you can pick a new date that works for you. Just keep an eye on the forecast!

Just got back from the shark tooth trip - it was awesome!

I took my family on the shark tooth adventure at Folly Beach and we loved it! The boat ride was fun, and finding shark teeth was a blast. Jim, the captain, was super knowledgeable about everything. We found so many cool fossils! Definitely recommend taking some old towels for the ride back.

Thinking of gifting the shark tooth experience - any tips?

I want to buy this for my sister's family for Christmas, but I'm a bit worried. Is it suitable for all ages? How do you think the kids will handle it? Any advice or experiences would be super helpful!
