Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Charleston Footprints Walking Tour?

A: There aren't any strict age limits, but the tour is generally more suited for older kids and adults since it involves walking for a couple of hours. If you're bringing younger kids, just keep in mind that they might get tired or not fully appreciate the history. When I took my 10-year-old, he loved the pirate stories but got a bit cranky halfway through. Just plan accordingly!

Q: What should I wear for the Charleston Footprints Walking Tour?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be walking for a while. I wore sandals, but my feet were sore by the end! Light clothing is also great, especially in summer. Charleston can get super hot and humid. A hat and sunscreen are good ideas too. I learned that the hard way!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather's really bad, they usually reschedule the tour for you. I had to move mine because of rain, and they were super accommodating. Just make sure to check your email for updates, or you can call them directly. They’re usually pretty responsive!

Thinking of gifting the Charleston Footprints Tour - any advice?

Hey everyone! I'm considering buying the Charleston Footprints Walking Tour for my parents' anniversary. They love history and walking but have mobility issues. Is it a pretty easy walk? Also, how much time should I expect to set aside for this? Any tips or experiences you can share would be super helpful!
