Most Tours in Charleston will take out 20 people on a tour. I keep my tours smaller and max out at 10 people. By having smaller groups it allows my guests to have a more personalized and unique experience. You get me, an experienced tour guide (Adam Moore) as your tour guide. I do every tour so you can be assured you will be getting the real deal :) So grab a coffee and get your day started off right with a morning history tour of beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. I will provide Intricate and detailed history, plus great storytelling and personality on our tour. Again, I like to keep these tours smaller in size to encourage conversations and questions.

Q&A

Q: What’s the maximum age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's really no strict age limit, but I'd say kids 10 and up will get the most out of it. Adam is great at engaging everyone, but younger kids might not be as interested in the history part. If you think they'll enjoy the stories and walking, go for it! Just consider their attention span.

Q: How do rescheduling and cancellations work if the weather's bad?

A: Adam's pretty flexible with rescheduling if the weather's not cooperating. He usually notifies guests the day before if there’s a chance of bad weather. If you need to reschedule, just reach out, and he’ll work with you to find a new time. Super accommodating!

Q: What should I wear, and do I need to bring anything specific?

A: Comfortable walking shoes are a must since you’ll be exploring the city’s alleyways. Dress casually but be mindful of the weather. A light jacket is good if it’s cooler in the morning. You don't need to bring anything special, but a camera for the beautiful scenery is always a great idea!

Just did the Charleston History Tour with Adam—what a gem!

I surprised my partner with the Charleston History Tour, and we had the best time! Adam kept it small—only 6 of us—which really made for a personal experience. His storytelling skills are on point, and we even got to go inside a historic church that was breathtaking. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes because we did a fair bit of walking. Totally worth it, highly recommend for anyone visiting Charleston!

Considering gifting the History Tour—anyone done it?

I’m thinking of giving the Charleston History Tour as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and walking tours! Just wondering if it’s worth the price and what the vibe is like. I heard Adam is great, but any personal experiences would help me decide. Thanks!
