Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this walking tour? Can kids join?

A: There's no official age limit, so kids can definitely join! The tour is great for families since you can go at your own pace. Just keep an eye on younger kids as some parts can have uneven sidewalks, and there are a lot of historical sites to explain.

Q: What’s the best time of year to do this tour? Does weather affect it?

A: Spring and fall are ideal for this tour, as the weather is usually mild. Summer can be really hot and humid, and winter is chilly but manageable. The cool thing is that you can always reschedule or do it in sections if the weather gets bad. Just keep an eye on forecasts!

Q: How does the app work? Is it user-friendly?

A: The app is pretty straightforward! You download it and follow the GPS prompts to navigate the tour. Just make sure your phone is charged and you have a good signal. If you're not super tech-savvy, it might take a minute to get the hang of it, but it’s really intuitive.

Thinking about buying the Charleston Self Guided Walking Tour for my parents!

I stumbled upon this self-guided walking tour in Charleston and it caught my eye! My parents love history and exploring new places. The fact that it’s flexible and they can go at their own pace is a huge plus. Has anyone done it? Does it cover a lot of ground, or are there parts that might be boring?

Just finished the Charleston Walking Tour - my thoughts!

I finally took the Charleston Self Guided Walking Tour last weekend and it was awesome! I wandered around the historic downtown, saw all the beautiful houses, and learned so much about the civil war history. I really liked stopping in at the little parks along the way. Perfect for a lazy afternoon. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
