We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim! Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this paddleboard tour? Can younger kids join?

A: Yes! The tour is open to ages 8 and up, which is great for families. Just make sure your younger kids are comfortable in the water and able to follow instructions. It's a fun way to get them outdoors and active!

Q: What should we wear for this paddleboard tour? Any gear recommendations?

A: Wear swimwear and bring a quick-dry shirt. Water shoes are a good idea, but they're not required. Don't forget sunscreen and a hat since you'll be out in the sun. The instructors provide life jackets, so that's covered!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the tour can be rescheduled. They usually notify you a day in advance if they think conditions will be unsafe. Just check their cancellation policy for full details!

Thinking of gifting the Charleston SUP Eco Tour—any tips?

I’m considering this paddleboard eco tour for my friend's birthday! It sounds like such a cool way to enjoy Folly Beach and see dolphins. I’m wondering if it’s challenging for first-timers like us? Also, what’s the best time of year to experience this?

Just did the Folly Beach paddleboard tour! Amazing!

I just got back from the Charleston Stand-Up Paddleboard Eco Tour and wow, what an experience! The instructors were super chill and made it easy for us newbies. We saw dolphins and even got to swim at a private beach! Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to try something new.
