Hope on and join us for a 90 min historical city tour through all 4 wards of uptown Charlotte. Our experienced guides can’t wait to show you our beautiful city and tell you all about its history. Expect to see historical churches, court houses, hotels, museums, theaters, homes dating back to as early as 1867 and more. For our sports fans we drive pass the Nascar Hall of Fame, the Spectrum Center (home of the Charlotte Hornets), Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC), and Truist Field (home of the Charlotte Knights). This tour is done in a heated/air-conditioned 13 passenger shuttle bus. Queen City Rides has been providing some of the best tours in Charlotte for over 7 years and we are so excited for you to join us! Meeting location is one block from the Light Rails Trade street station. Public parking garages are conveniently located on E 5th Street where we meet. Please arrive 10 minutes early!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the bus tour?

A: No age limit! Infants up to 4 years old can ride for free, and kids from 5 to 12 are just $29.75. It’s a great family-friendly experience, so everyone can enjoy the history of Charlotte together!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: The tour runs rain or shine since the shuttle is heated/air-conditioned. If there’s severe weather, they usually contact everyone to reschedule. It's definitely best to check the forecast before heading out!

Q: How's parking near the meetup location?

A: There are public parking garages on E 5th Street, which is super close to where the tour starts. Just make sure to arrive 10 minutes early to find a spot and not miss the bus!

Just did the Charlotte Historical City Bus Tour—super fun!

I took the historical bus tour last weekend, and wow, it was awesome! Our guide knew so much about Charlotte's history. We saw everything from the beautiful old churches to the Nascar Hall of Fame. Totally worth the $29.75 for my 10-year-old too! The bus was really comfortable, and they even had AC. I highly recommend it for families or anyone wanting to learn more about the Queen City.

Thinking of gifting the Charlotte Bus Tour—any thoughts?

I’m considering gifting this historical bus tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love learning about new places. Has anyone gone with older folks? Is it easy for them to get on and off the shuttle?
